Overflow in the Pontsticill or Taf Fechan Reservoir in South Wales

Pontsticill or Taf Fechan Reservoir in South Wales was built in 1927. Pontsticill Reservoir or Taf Fechan Reservoir is a large reservoir on the Taf Fechan lying slightly in the county of Powys and slightly within the county borough of Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales.  The 110-foot high support has been holding back 3.4 billion gallons of water for supply to industry and population to the South.  It covers 253 acres (100+ hectares) and contains wild brown trout.
