ever heard of please excuse my dear aunt sally? parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. u end up close but not correct. 5-0+3. u add 0+3=3. so itd b 5-3. which leads u to the correct answer which is 2. i know what ur thinking maybe its -0+3=+3. then 5+3=8. wrong. zero is not - nor +. learned that in school also. so u got rid of ur - sign altogether n made it 5+3. doesnt make since to me. but hey u were close.
For all the mathematics profeesors... PEMDAS does NOT apply here. There are no parentheses. Therefore one cannot use that formula to solve this equation. You must just start left to right to start solving the equation. The correct and only answer is eight.

The right answer is 2 if you use PEMDAS...the answer above is PEMDSA...

BODMAS would make the answer 2
